TabTrade - What It Is
TabTrade went live in Q1 2026. Trading platform registered in Saint Lucia, under Saint Lucia's FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker.
That last detail matters. It means the founder knows how a proper broker operates. That is not a guarantee. Still more reassuring than someone with no brokerage experience.
TabTrade came out of the gate with Equinix data centre access in London. Same data centres institutional desks use. The typical new launch leads with marketing and bonuses. TabTrade went the other way. Interesting choice.
Market coverage: FX, indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, equities, crypto, exchange-traded funds. A wide spread. For a broker that is a few months old, that range is broad.
The Software
Available: MT5, cTrader, and a WebTrader. Both MT5 and cTrader from one account. Most brokers pick one platform. Having both is useful. Use whichever you prefer.
MetaTrader 5 is what most people know. Full charting, EAs, massive community. If you have traded on MetaTrader previously, it is familiar territory.
cTrader is the alternative. Better DOM. Smoother chart interaction. cBot support. Many people like it better than MT5 after using both.
Direct FIX connectivity is available for bots but requires the VIP account ($25,000 deposit). TradingView is apparently on the roadmap. That would round things out when it lands.
Costs
Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard. 1.0 pip spreads. Zero commission. Simple. $0 to start. Works for beginners.
Edge. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips on average. Flat commission of $3.50 each way. All-in: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On liquid pairs, the actual interbank spread is often under 0.2 pips. So your actual cost per trade can be below 0.5 pips. That is cheap for an offshore broker. Most platforms that offer pricing like this want $500 or more to open. TabTrade has no minimum.
VIP. $25,000 deposit required. FIX connectivity, execution under 20ms, negotiated fees. Not relevant to most retail traders. Ignore this one unless you run serious volume.
How Fast Are the Fills
The execution is the area where Tab Trade stands apart. Equinix data centres. Under 30ms on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. Those are proper execution targets. The average platform run hundreds of milliseconds.
Does it matter? If you scalp, yes. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is catching the move or missing it. If you hold positions longer, it matters less. The point is the setup is serious. That is something about priorities.
Put together that infrastructure with the Edge account pricing and the overall offering makes sense. Few brokers at this price point run Equinix connectivity.
Safety
Here is the detail that matters. Tab Trade is under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is tier-3. No CySEC. No fund protection scheme. If the lack of tier-1 regulation is a problem for you, stop reading. There are FCA-regulated options out there.
However. Benjamin Boulter came from BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The Equinix infrastructure costs real money. Fly-by-night platforms do not pay for Equinix connectivity. That does not guarantee anything. It should factor into your assessment.
The deal: you trade regulatory safety. For that: high leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, Equinix execution. Whether the trade-off is worth it comes down to your priorities.
The Bonus
TabTrade offers a welcome bonus of up to two thousand dollars. Usual deposit match. You put money in, the broker add bonus funds. Usual conditions attached: turnover conditions before bonus funds can be taken out. Check the terms before you deposit.
